Vacation Look

Whether I am taking a quick weekend getaway or an extravagant tropical adventure, vacation time is my favorite time to pay extra attention to my skin and keep the makeup to a minimum. This past week I went to Kiawah Island in South Carolina to get some last minute R&R with my mom before starting my senior year of college **holds back tears**. I stayed at the beautiful Sanctuary Hotel by Kiawah Island Golf Resort and this tranquil oasis truly exceeded my expectations.

Each day I started the morning with a stretch class and then yoga on the beach to get my day going. whenever i have been on vacation before i would always be confused as to what kind of look i wanted to go for because typically i am out in the sun relaxing but also want to look presentable. after much back and forth i finally found my routine that I think might work for most of you! During the day I start by applying my Kiehl’s
‘Ultra Facial’ Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 that always leaves my skin feeling radiant and hydrating. I then I add my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer on top of this. During the summer time I tend to wear the oil free product as appeased to the illuminating, because wearing moisturizer and sunscreen gives me enough hydration. This product not only give you a glowy light weight coverage look but also protects your skin with spf 20. Last but certainly not least I use my Voluminous Lash Paradise by L’Oreal that I have been loving lately to make my face pop!

IMG_3665.JPGIf I am looking for more of a night time look i will touch up my face makeup, add a touch of my Nars Bronzing Powder in laguna to either side of my cheeks along with a cat eye using my liquid eyeliner and I’m good to go to dinner! An amazing yet affordable liquid liner I have been using is by E.L.F Cosmetics Cream Eyeliner in the shade black and its only $3!! With these few simple steps you are sure to look stunning where ever your adventure takes you.
